About The Opportunity:

We have an new amazing opportunity for our growing team in QLD. This role will allow you to provide exceptional support to our VM team across all our stores in QLD. In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of five Visual Merchandisers working across the stores.

This role will allow you to work with our amazing luxury products together with our VM team and with our store team members in supporting them to bring out the best in their store. You role will be very much hands-on when you are coaching and training your team to success.

Whilst our stores are absolutely divine and you have stunning products to work with, the role of a Visual Merchandiser Coordinator is not for the faint-hearted. Your will be adding significant value through;

  • Implementing and upholding our visual merchandising standards across the stores
  • Ensure consistency in our Adairs standards
  • Managing the VM operatives - conference calls, event planning, liaise with support office and State Managers
  • Coaching and guiding our visual merchandising team
  • Supporting our stores with regular visits
  • Replenishing stock and creating displays that reflect our trends and current promotions
  • Leveraging our fixtures to ensure the store looks full without being overcrowded
  • Creating an environment that tells a strong story, makes the customers feel welcome and increases sales

You know in all Visual Merchandising roles it’s not an easy task to create spaces that invite people in and inspire them to purchase, so you collaborate, ask for feedback and apply it effortlessly.

Finally, you will love representing our amazing brand working with luxury products, following briefs, planning ahead and keeping abreast of upcoming events and communications, all whilst having great time management skills. 

 

What We Ask You To Bring To The Table:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience and success in visual merchandising within the homewares industry
  • An awesome attitude to do what it takes to make things great things happen
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of visual merchandising principles
  • Physically fit and not afraid of heights (did we mention that you’ll be up and down ladders)
  • Creative flair and eye for detail whilst also keeping to the consistency of the stores
  • Current drivers license
