About The Opportunity:

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for delivering service standards, financial targets and KPI’s within allocated region are achieved and exercise strong workforce planning to ensure team are developing and growing.

The Area manager will;

  • Ensure financial, Service and Operational targets, KPI’s and company standards are being achieved
  • Ensure audit results come back compliant and inline with set standards
  • Execute effective workforce planning and forecasting in order to have the right people are in the right role at the right time
  • Proactively ensure team are full trained and competent in all aspects of the Adairs standards and guidelines
  • Ensure all team members are given opportunities for growth and performance is effectively evaluated and communicated aligned to company standards and expectations
  • Proactively identify, communicate and implement opportunities for improvement relating to all store performance and processes

  • Demonstrated success as Area Manager within retail
  • Strong people leadership and management skills/techniques
  • Excellent workforce and succession planning skills
  • Commercial mindset and previous experience managing P&L’s
  • An awesome attitude and ability to instil values and culture within a team
